PRESIDENT SARGSYAN ON A WORKING VISIT TO LORI

President Serzh Sargsyan is on a working visit to Lori marz. In the
city of Spitak the President visited the “Agroholding-Armenia” Company.

This livestock breeding farm is special for adaptation of European
livestock to local climatic and ecological conditions. According to
Director Arshavir Martikyan, they apply modern technologies, which
allow increasing the milk production.

President Sargsyan next stopped at two schools in Spitak reconstructed
with the financial assistance of the Lincy Foundation. In one of the
schools the President handed Housing Purchase Certificates to three
families. Another 150 families received certificated.

In this context Minister of Urban Development Vardan Vardanyan recalled
his promise to provide housing to all residents of the earthquake
zone by 2013. More than 4 600 houses will be built by then.

The President is expected to visit Stepanavan to participate in the
opening of the “Sagamar” Company.
