ARMENIAN WEIGHTLIFTERS PREPARING FOR PARIS CHAMPIONSHIP

Armenia’s team of weightlifters is preparing for the World
Weightlifting Championship very seriously, Samvel Khachatryan,
President of the Federation of Weightlifters has said.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Khachatryan said that our athletes
are in a perfect condition.

“Armenia’s team of weightlifters is preparing for the World
Weightlifting Championship to be held in Paris very seriously,”
said Khachatryan.

“The boys are currently getting prepared in the Podolsk city in Moscow
area, while the girls are in Abovyan training base,” said he.

“The main goal of this championship is to win Olympic tickets,”
explained Khachatryan.

“Our girls have already won the maximum number of four tickets,
while the boys can add one or two tickets to the existing four ones.”
