POLICE ARREST INDIVIDUAL PROTESTING AGAINST ARMY ABUSES

Earlier today, police arrested Lala Aslikyan, one of a group protesting
against abuses within the ranks of the Armenian army.

Aslikyan is a member of a group calling itself ” The Army in Reality”.

The demonstrators had assembled in front of the Armenian Government
Building in Yerevan.

The police later issued a statement that the protestors were in
violation of disturbing the peace and had been taunting cops at
the site.
