No Armenians Among The Victims Of Earthquake In Turkey

NO ARMENIANS AMONG THE VICTIMS OF EARTHQUAKE IN TURKEY

There are no Armenians among the victims of 7.2 magnitude earthquake
that hit Turkey October 23, spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Minister
Tigran Balayan wrote in his Twitter page.

According to the official information, the number of victims of the
earthquake reached 217, about 1000 people have been injured.

By the way, Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed
to the residents of Turkey and said that it is quite remarkable that
leaders of many states, including Armenia, have expressed willingness
to help Turkey. Erdogan expressed gratitude to all the countries and
noted that in case of necessity he will apply to them.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a message of condolences to
the President of Turkey Abdullah Gul on the occasion of the earthquake
and offered Armenia’s assistance.
