ELENA BASHKIROVA’S CONCERT IN YEREVAN

The concert of famous pianist and public figure Elena Bashkirova was
held today at “Aram Khachatryan” concert hall.

The concert was held with State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia
within the framework of “Yerevan Perspectives” music festival. Eduard
Topchyan was the artistic director and chief conductor of the
orchestra.

Elena Bashkirova was born in Moscow, the daughter of pianist and
teacher Dmitri Bashkirov. She studied at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

She is the founder of the Metropolis Ensemble in Berlin, Germany
and Jerusalem International Festival of Chamber Music (also JIFCM’s
artistic director) in 1998.
