“At first look at yourself. Such leadership is impossible. Turkey is
not a piece which can be easily swallowed”

Baku – APA. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan commented
on ideas sounded by French President Nicolas Sarkozy in Armenia. APA
reports that Erdogan delivered a speech at the meeting of parliamentary
group of Justice and Development Party (AKP).

Touching on the statements of French President in Armenia, Turkish PM
strongly criticized Sarkozy: “Thinking of the forthcoming elections he
gives recommendations to Turkey. At first give the recommendations
to yourself, look at yourself. You speak differently in France,
differently in Armenia, differently in Turkey. Such leadership is
impossible. The policy demands correctness. Think of it at first”.

Erdogan said that Turkey was not a piece which can be easily swallowed:
“The state officialdom is a feature which demands not to think of
future elections, but future generations, not to polarize the people,
but unite them”.

Sarkozy said that France will take corresponding measures in case of
Turkey doesn’t recognize the so-called “Armenian genocide”.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
