Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra Sums Up Yerevan 5th Internatio

ARMENIAN STATE PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA SUMS UP YEREVAN 5TH INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVALL

The press conference of Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra took
place on October 11. The press conference aimed at summing up Yerevan
5th International Music Festival and presenting the final concert
held in Aram Khachaturian concert hall on October 12. Yerevan 5th
International Music Festival launched more than a month ago presented
over 10 symphonic and chamber music concerts. Over 15 famous musicians
invited from different countries of the world will participate in the
festival. The masterpieces of the world famous classical composers
were included in the program.

Let’s remind that Yerevan International Music Festival is organised by
the RA Ministry of Culture and Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra.

The 5th festival is devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Armenia’s
independence and 85th anniversary of Armenian State Philharmonic
Orchestra.

The festival is held under the high patronage of the RA First Lady
Rita Sargsyan.

The final concert of Yerevan 5th International Musical Festival will
be conduceted by Christopher Warren-Green, the world famous British
conductor, the artistic director of Charlotte Symphony and London
Chamber Orchestra. Famous pianist Evgeni Saudbin will perform as a
soloist at the concert.

The speakers of the press conference were Edward Topchyan, the artistic
director and chief conductor of Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra,
the artistic director of Yerevan 5th International Music Festival,
conductor Christopher Warren-Green, pianist Evgeni Sudbin (Great
Britan), Alexander Chaushyan,cellist and the artistic director of
Yerevan 5th International Musical Festival.
