ANKARA: Armenian Church Restoration Nears Completion In Southeast Tu

ARMENIAN CHURCH RESTORATION NEARS COMPLETION IN SOUTHEAST TURKEY

The restoration work on Surp Giragos church is almost complete and
the church will re-open to worship with a liturgy on Oct. 22.

The church had been out of use for the last thirty years.

The restoration work was funded by the Surp Giragos Church Foundation
and the Diyarbakır Municipality.

The cost of restoration was reported as three and a half million liras.
