CRIMINAL CASE LAUNCHED FOR INCIDENT IN NAGORNO-KARABAKH MILITARY UNIT

Criminal proceedings have been launched under charges of RA Criminal
Code Article 359 Section 1 (“Breach of relations, prescribed by field
manuals, between servicemen not subordinated to each other, expressed
in humiliation of the person’s honor and self-esteem, persecution
or violence”) for an incident which took place in a military unit
in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of a breach of relations between
servicemen.

This news was conveyed to Epress.am by Meri Sargsyan, a press
spokesperson for the Armenian defense ministry’s investigative service.

No arrests have yet been made.
