The Ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland Charles Aznavour told
Nouvelles d’Armenie when asked about the main reason of emigration
from Armenia.

“Nothing is done to help people there. On the contrary, I know terrible
stories about the members of the mafia. They can leave a farmer hungry
on his own land. The mafia members must be shot dead. It cannot go on
like this. You want to be a Mafiosi? Go and establish your mafia in
other countries. But don’t do it in your country, against your people.”
