PanARMENIAN.Net – System of a Down vocalist Serj Tankian has
contributed the song ‘Total Paranoia’ to the upcoming videogame
soundtrack for ‘Batman: Arkham City’, according to banana1015.com.

System fans have been clamoring for a new album from the Armenian hard
rockers ever since their indefinite hiatus took effect in 2006. The
band has satisfied some fans by re-forming for a tour this past summer,
but there are still no known plans for a System of a Down Album.

Vocalist Serj Tankian has kept busy with his solo career that has
already spawned two albums -2007’s Elect the Dead and 2010’s Imperfect
Harmonies (as well as a subsequent remix version of the latter). In
past interviews Serj has claimed to have penned over 400 songs already.

His latest track is called ‘Total Paranoia’ and you will find it among
new tracks from The Damned Things, Coheed and Cambria, and Daughtry on
‘Batman: Arkham City – The Album’. The multiplatform videogame hits
stores October 18, with the album being released two weeks ahead on
October 4.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
