The Armenian authorities and opposition are frightening each other
with second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, says Karen
Kocharyan, expert in political
technologies.

He told media, Friday that over the 10 years of Robert Kocharyan’s
presidency, the person of Levon Ter-Petrosyan, first president of
Armenia, was used as an instrument for frightening. Thus, there is
constant rush over possible return of Robert Kocharyan to big politics
and to the post of the president on the example of Russia.
Nevertheless, Karen Kocharyan believes that the processes in Russia
and Armenia are too different to be compared. “Putin’s rating in
Russia is very high. Unlike Robert Kocharyan, he has no rivals and he
is the prime minister,” he says.
