DEPUTY ASSISTANT SECRETARY RUBIN TO VISIT ARMENIA

US Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Eric
S. Rubin will travel to Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia on October
16-22 to hold meetings with government officials and civil society
leaders to discuss bilateral issues, as well as issues related to
regional peace and stability.

In Armenia, Deputy Assistant Secretary Rubin will discuss U.S.-Armenia
bilateral relations, stressing the strategic and shared interests
underlying bilateral cooperation in security, economic and democratic
reforms.
