20TH ANNIVERSARY OF ARMENIA’S INDEPENDENCE MARKED IN ALEPPO

The Consulate General of Armenia in Aleppo held a solemn event to
mark the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence in the hall of
“Krtasirats” cultural association in Aleppo on September 21.

Consul General Ashot Manukyan addressed the opening ceremony of
the event. He handed over gold medals and diplomas to song and
dance ensembles of Armenian unions of Aleppo, theater companies and
individuals, bestowed by the Armenian Ministry of Culture.

The solemn ceremony was followed by a concert organized by local
unions, MFA press office reported.
