20TH-ANNIVERSARY PARADE PROMISES SURPRISES FROM DOMESTIC ARMENIAN MILITARY INDUSTRY

YEREVAN. – Aside from being beautiful and inspiring, a military parade
is also the army’s accounting before the country’s residents, military
analyst Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Armenian News.NEWS.am, adding that,
“the military parade is moreover a huge, beautiful event whereby an
opinion is formed on combat-readiness, and technical and equipment
capacity is partly understood.”

According to Hovhannisyan, when comparing all military parades held
since the past 20 years of Armenia’s independence, development of the
country’s armed forces becomes clear. “The 20th-Anniversary military
parade will display certain offensive and defensive weapons. There
could also be surprises from domestic military industry,” Hovhannisyan
noted, underscoring that the parade would give the regional countries
fairly sufficient answers concerning the arsenal of Armenia’s army.
