Kara: Match Turkish Sanctions

Member of Knesset Ayoub Kara (Likud) called, Sunday, on Prime Minister
Binyamin Netanayu to make an official visit to Kurdistan and recognize
the Turkish massacre of Armenians almost a hundred years ago. The call
is in recently announced Turkish steps against Israel over Israel’s
refusal to apologize for the deaths of nine Turkish citizens following
an attack on Israeli commandos who boarded the Mavi Marmara as it
tried to break the naval blockade on Gaza last year.

In remarks prepared for an event for Likud activists in Tel Aviv, the
Deputy Minister for Development of the Negev and the Galilee and
Regional Cooperation will say that the extremism led by Turkish Prime
Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan requires that Israel change its
relations with the government in Ankara. Referring to Erdogan’s
statement that it’s a matter of Turkish pride, Kara said, “The people
of Israel have national pride too and we won’t let anyone trample us.”

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
