WILL URUGUAY RECOGNIZE NKR?

The foreign minister of Uruguay, Luis Almagro, addressing the
conference of the Armenian National Committee of America and
Uruguay-Armenia parliamentary group, dwelled on the Karabakh issue
and made a sensational statement.

‘Today we are studying the issue to express a state point of view but
I personally believe that Nagorno Karabakh is a historical part of
Armenia and either must be independent or promptly unite with Armenia.

This is the only resolution to the issue of Artsakh,’ he said.
