YEREVAN, AUGUST 19, ARMENPRESS: In the recent period a change is
noticed in Azerbaijani anti-Armenian propaganda policy, military expert
Davit Jamalyan said today at a meeting with journalists, adding that
a new term has been put into circulation – “Azerbaijani Armenian”.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Minister stated lately that Azerbaijan
must do so that as a result of a referendum Artsakh population votes
for joining Azerbaijan. That country is currently carrying out an
active work in that very direction,” the military expert said.

According to him, that is why Azerbaijan displays tolerance toward the
“Azerbaijani Armenians”.

“We can clearly see this Azerbaijani position, looking back at 13-year
old Artsakh girl’s letter addressed to the Azerbaijani President,
the military expert said, adding that Azerbaijan will not manage to
convince the young generation to join that country. According to him,
the wish of all Armenian people is expressed in the letter – “None
of us wants war”. “But Azerbaijan decided to use this letter for its
profits. Azerbaijan tries to present Artsakh-Armenians in his country
and among international community as future citizens of its country,”
Davit Jamalyan said.

According to him, Armenia must make its viewpoint hearable to the
whole world; serious steps must be undertaken in the direction of
strengthening Armenia-Artsakh information field. “We do not want war,
but we can never adapt ourselves to loss of Artsakh,” the military
expert stressed.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
