Maxim Verner: `As President I will support Turkey’

Candidate for President of France Maxim Verner has an interview with
Turkish `Milliyet’ . He actually said that Sarkozy’s policy is only
good for old and wealthy people, but not for youth, the major part of
which has no work.

About France Turkish policy graduate of Istanbul `Galatasaray’
University said that as President he will support Turkey to join EU.
Answering about Armenian-Turkish processes Maxim Verner said that no
politics can solve the problems but the youth.

What about his trip to his forefathers land the Armenian city Karin
(Erzurum) which is currently under Turkish control young candidate
answered that he would like to visit Turkey again soon and want to
find his grandfather’s ruined village house and also taste Arabian
desert qatayef.
