Armenian appointed head of Montreal City Council-newspaper

Mayor of Montreal Gerald Tremblay appointed Armenian Harutyun
Shitilyan head of the city council. According to the mayor, Shitilyan
is the candidate, who can lead the city council. He stressed Shitilyan
is the youngest head of the city council in its history, Azg newspaper
reports.

The City Council ratified the Montreal mayor’s request and Shitilyan
took up the post officially.
