BIG POWERS UNDERMINE SPEEDY SETTLEMENT OF KARABAKH CONFLICT – IRANIAN SPEAKER

History shows that when big powers intervene, regional conflicts
are not settled for a long time as those powers pursue their own
interests, Iranian parliament speaker has said in an interview with
the Azerbaijani news agency Trend.

“OSCE Minsk Group has been brokering a settlement for years, what’s
the result?” Ali Larijani said. He added that this is why they think
that such conflicts should be settled inside a given region because
the regional countries understand each other better.
