50 YOUNG ARMENIAN SCIENTISTS TO GET EXTRA MONEY

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s 50 young scientists will get additional money
per month from the state budget, State Committee of Science Chairman
Samvel Harutyunyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am-Innovations.

According to him, young scientists will receive AMD 50,000 ($135)
to AMD 100,000 ($270) per month. Scientists must correspond to high
criteria to get money, he added.

“Government has already approved the suggestion. We will fulfill the
project as soon as we have money,” said Harutyunyan.

He stressed the committee plans to implement other projects for the
youth, so that young people will not feel ignored in Armenia and will
not think of leaving the country.
