Dalia GrybauskaitÄ – : No one will ever support a military solution

Armenia views Lithuania as a friendly country and a trustworthy
partner, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated at a joint press
conference with the President of Lithuania Dalia GrybauskaitÄ – .

`The relations between Armenia and Lithuania have been dynamically
developing ever since declaration of independence. The
Armenian-Lithuanian dialogue has been developing and expanding ever
since,’ President Sargsyan stated.

During the meeting the Presidents of the two countries referred to the
Lithuanian chairmanship of the OSCE.

`Armenian welcomes the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and
the Russian President towards settlement of the Karabakh issue. `We
are ready to work and negotiate. We consider it necessary to seek for
mutual concessions,’ Serzh Sargsyan stated.

`Unfortunately, Azerbaijan continues straining the situation with its
statements not corresponding to any standard of civilized dialogue.
This is a serious blow to the negotiation process,’ he stated.

According to Dalia GrybauskaitÄ – , despite the inherited wounds, the
Armenian people is able to solve issues in a peaceful way. `The main
objective of the international community, particularly the OSCE is to
solve any conflict in a peaceful way,’ she stated.

No one, including any international organization will ever support a
military solution, the Lithuanian President stated.
