Armenian Catholicos Karekin II to visit South America

The Catholicos of All-Armenians, Karekin II, is on a visit to South
America today, Armenia Today reports.

The catholicos will visit the Brazil Eparchy on May 6-10, Uruguay on
May 10-12, the Armenian Eparchy in Argentina on May 12-21 and Armenian
communities in Chili and Venezuela on May 21-25.

Karekin II is assisted by Archbishop Ovnan Terteryan, head of the
West-American Eparchy of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop
Artak Terteryan, inspector of the Echmiadzin, hieromonk Anania
Tsaturyan, Adam Makaryan, secretary of the catholicos’s chancellery
and James Galustyan, a philanthropist of Echmiadzin.
