Robbers Loot St. Gayaneh Church in Etchmiadzin

Police are currently investigating a burglary that took place sometime
last night at the St. Gayaneh Church in the town of Etchmiadzin.

Initial reports say that the robbers broke the church door and then
removed two church donation boxes from inside. Father Vahram Melikyan,
a press spokesman for the Holy See, confirmed that a robbery has taken
place and that police are conducting an investigation.
