RUBIK MAMOYAN WINS SILVER AT EUROPEAN U23 WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS

On November 23, Armenia~Rs Rubik Mamoyan (62kg) won silver at the
European U23 Weightlifting Championships in Limassol, Cyprus.

The Armenian sportsmen lifted 270kg in the snatch and clean & jerk
combination.

Armenian weightlifter Armen Arakelyan, who represents Greece, was
the sixth with 241kg.

Armenia~Rs Vanik Avetisyan, David Muradyan and Zorik Poghosyan will
enter the competition the same day.
