Visit of a group of French deputies, presided by deputy Francois
Rocheblois to Nagorno Karabakh is not an official visit.

The recent visit of a group of French deputies, presided by deputy
Francois Rocheblois to Nagorno Karabakh is not an official visit,
organized by the National Assembly of France, says a response
of Assembly chairman Bernard Accoyer to the Foreign Ministry of
Azerbaijan, News.Az reports with reference to a statement from the
Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The head of the assembly noted that he learned about the visit after
the embassy’s letter. He said this visit is a personal visit of the
French deputies. He noted that the visit was not financed from the
National Assembly.

The chairman noted that the unofficial position of these deputies will
not doubt France’s participation within the framework of the Minsk
Group where official Paris continues its efforts for the peaceful
resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
