Surb Khach liturgy to help Armenian-Turkish rapprochement, German diplomat says

German Ambassador to Turkey Eckart Kuntz, who arrived in Van to take
part in the liturgy in Surb Khach church on Akhtamar Island, met with
the Van Governor.

A NEWS.am correspondent reports from Van that at his meeting with
journalists the German Ambassador recalled his presence at the opening
ceremony of the church in 2007. The liturgy in Surb Khach church will
contribute to Armenian-Turkish rapprochement, Ambassador Kuntz said
with hope.
