THE ARMENIAN CULTURAL CENTER OPENS IN DAGESTAN

Makhachkala, August 23, 2010. The meeting of representatives of the
Armenian diaspora of Makhachkala took pace in the Republican National
Library. The idea of creation of public organization “Armenian Cultural
Center” was the purpose of the meeting.

The Chairman of the Union of Filmmaker of the Republic of Dagestan M.
Suleymanov and the Prorector of the North Caucasian Taxation Institute
in Makhachkala M. Gamzatov addressed to participants of the meeting.

They lived for a long time in Armenia.

The creation of the Cultural Center will help to develop national
culture, education.

After the official part of the meeting a concert took place. The
winner of the international contest, the violinist Arutjun Pilojan, the
pianist Anait Pilojan and the singer Andronik took part in the concert.
