Incident causes casualties in Armenian military unit – Defense Ministry

An incident involving the use of firearms has occurred in a military
unit in Armenia, causing casualties, the Armenian Defense Ministry
press service told Interfax.

A criminal case has been opened and an investigation is under way, the
ministry said.

“The Armed Forces are extending their deepest condolences to the
victims’ relatives and loved ones. The appropriate services have
already been instructed to investigate this incident,” the ministry
said.

The details of the incident have not been reported.
