FROM JUNE 15 TO JULY 22 10 311 TICKETS OF “ARMENIA” TRAIN IMPLEMENTING YEREVAN-BATUMI-YEREVAN PASSENGER TRANSPORTATIONS HAVE BEEN SOLD

YEREVAN, JULY 22, ARMENPRESS: From June 15 to July 22 10 311 tickets
of “Armenia” train implementing Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan passenger
transportations have been sold. An official from the “South Caucasian
Railways” company told Armenpress that July 1-22 3 875 people were
transported to Batumi and 1 500 passengers returned from there. As
compared with the same span of the past year the number of passengers
in the two directions was 3 400.

The train is functioning everyday. For further improving of the
services the company is negotiating with the Russian companies for
applying electronic system of ticket selling which will need $400
thousand investments.
