ARMENIA APPRECIATES COOPERATION WITH UN AGENCIES, RA PREMIER SAYS

On June 15, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met Margaret Sekaggya,
Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders. Dafina
Gercheva, UN Resident Coordinatorin Armenia also attended the meeting.

Premier Sargsyan made a high appraisal of Armenia’s cooperation
with UN agencies, the RA Governmental Information and PR Department
informed NEWS.am.

The officials discussed human rights protection in Armenia. Tigran
Sargsyan pointed out the importance of international experience for
Armenia and of assistance by the UN office.
