TALKS ON UPPER LARS CHECKPOINT OPENING HELD IN ARMENIA THROUGH YEREVAN MEDIATION: NALBANDIAN

Talks over the opening of Upper Lars checkpoint were held in Armenia
under Yerevan’s mediation and today, when it opened we can say this,
said RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian at the press conference.

"We can state that Upper Lars is a remarkable achievement primarily
for Georgia, Russia and definitely Armenia," he declared.

Chairman of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia
Arsen Ghazaryan noted that checkpoint opening will reduce period
of cargo traffic from and to Armenia by half, as well as decrease
transit cost by 25%.
