E.NALBANDIAN: THE REAL CRIMINALS OF KHOJALU WILL BE PUNISHED

A high-level delegation of the European Union led by Spanish Foreign
Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos arrived in Armenia. Within the
framework of the visit the delegation met Armenian President Serzh
Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. The meeting of the
Armenian and Spanish FMs was fallowed by the joint Press Conference.

Nalbandian touched upon the statement made by Frank Pallone, the
co-chair of the US Senates group supporting Armenia for the 22nd
anniversary of Sumgait massacres, which said that the organizers of
the Armenian massacres in Sumgait will be punished.

"I am sorry that the organizers of the massacres of peaceful and
unarmed inhabitants in Sumgait and Baku are left unpunished. And it’s
a pity that after the independence of Azerbaijan the criminals and
the murderers received freedom", – the minister said assuring that
sooner or later the criminals will get their punishment.

"Armenia will continue putting efforts in punish the criminals", –
stressed the Minister.

"I am also sure that the time will come when the real organizers
of Khojalu crimes, of which also the former Azerbaijani President
Mutalibov witnesses, as well as other Azerbaijani sources that are
being chased today, will be discovered and will be punished", –
Edward Nalbandian stated.
