ARNO BABAJANYAN CONCERT HALL TO HOST PREMIUM PRESENTATION OF "KANON" ON NOV. 23

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ On November 23, Arno Babajanyan concert hall will
host the premium presentation of "Kanon" film. This is the third
motion picture from "Armenian Musical Instruments" series. The other
two films screened previously were "Duduk" and "Kamancha".

The author and producer of the project is Rita Shakroyan, Head of
Hay-art Cultural Center; the stage director is Armen Ronov. People’s
artist Angela Atabekyan tells about the features of the string
instrument.

"The film tells about Armenian people’s role in spreading the
instrument and prolonging its life to the present day," Rita Sharoyan
told PanARMENIAN.Net.

NUMBER OF UNEMPLOYED REACHES 83000 IN JANUARY-OCTOBER 2009 IN ARMENIA

the number of unemployed reached 83000 in January-October in Armenia,
increasing by 11,4% against last year’s index.

Average monthly salary totaled AMD 98618 in January-October 2009,
increasing by 11,5% compared with 2008 data. At the same time,
average salary in government-financed organizations totaled AMD 81529,
increasing by 16,1%; in private enterprises the figure reached AMD
123160, increasing by 8,1% against last year’s index.

FFA PRESIDENT: ARMENIA NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM NEEDS A GOOD COACH

Hayrapetyan summed up the year of 2009 at the press conference held
on November 20. According to Ruben Hayrapetyan, Armenian Football
Major League was in an interesting fight.

According Hayrapetyan, the Armenian national team needs a good coach.

So far, the team is coached by Vardan Minasyan. Federation is
negotiating with several coaches. One of them, Sergio Markarian lives
in Uruguay. "Until December 10 Markarian must respond to our proposal.

Of course, it would be nice if he agreed to coach our national team,"
Ruben Hayrapetyan said.

Ruben Hayrapetyan said, he believes in the good future of the Armenian
football.

REHABILITATION CENTERS FOR PROBLEMATIC ADOLESCENTS OPERATE IN ARMENIA

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Over 9 months of 2009 there 155 cases of violence
against minors have been recorded in Armenia, Colonel Hovhannes
Tamamyan , Head of the Criminal Investigation department of Armenia’s
Police told a press conference in Yerevan. According to him, 33 per
cent of them are of intentional infliction of bodily harm.

"The priority issue for us to protect minors and to prevent the crimes
committed against them", Colonel Tamamyan said, adding that police
are trying to help those young people who have chosen the right path.

Since 2005 a national program on child’s rights protection has formed
a working group and has already achieved positive results.

"RA Police, in cooperation with Project Harmony opened rehabilitation
centers for young people in Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Alaverdi and
Ijevan" colonel Tamamyan said, adding that during 2009 120 minors
were sent to rehabilitation centers.

He emphasized that, a tangible progress ahs been observed in crime
detection. "Within 10 months of 2009 the number of solved crimes
reached 74.5 per cent, while last year that figure was only 61.7 per
cent", Mr. Tamamyan stressed.

VICE PRIME MINISTER OF ARMENIA FAMILIARIZED WITH PROBLEMS OF TAVUSH AND GEGHARKUNIK DWELLERS

of Territorial Administration of Armenia Armen Gevorgyan visited Tavush
and Gegharkunik regions of the republic, where he familiarized works
on gas network, as well as listened to the concerns of residents of
the Artsvashen community.

According to press service of the Ministry of Territorial
Administration, in frames of the program "Economic development of
rural areas" Chambarak (Gegharkunik region), as well as the village
of Chinari and Verin Karmir Aghbyur were connected to the gas network.

Sale and purchase transactions in the internal banking market totalled
USD1.390.000 at AMD 387.64 per 1 USD.

The Nasdaq OMX Armenia has been realized 19,215,000 dollars purchase
and sale transactions at AMD 387.28 per 1 USD.

>>From November 9 to 15 Armenia’s banks granted loans totalling AMD 11.1

KAREN CHENTERECHYAN: LAKE SEVAN HAS NOT NECESSARY CONDITIONS FOR THE NATURAL DEVELOPMENT OF FISHERIES

conditions for the development of fisheries in Lake Sevan. We have
irrevocably lost two species of trout, we try to preserve ‘Bahtaka’
and ‘Gegharkunik’, Boris Gabrielyan, director of the Institute of
Hydro-ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia said.

According to him, in 2008 170-180 tons of whitefish have been diluted
in Lake Sevan, while the same level of 1980’s was 30 thousand tons.

As the head of the department for management of animal resources at
the RA ministry of ecology Karen Chenterechyan said: "This year 287
thousand fry have been placed in Lake Sevan. However, Lake Sevan has
not necessary conditions for the natural development of fisheries.

According to Karen Chenterechyan, for preservation and development
of fishery resources Armenia was granted 30 million AMD in 2007,
80 million AMD in 2008, and 72 million AMD in 2009, while next year
because of the crisis, only 60 million AMD will be allocated for that
purpose .

NEXT CIS GOVERNMENTAL LEADERS COUNCIL SITTING DUE IN MAY 2010 IN MOSCOW

will take place in May 2010 in Moscow, CIS Executive Committee
Secretary Sergey Lebedev told at Council sitting in Yalta.

At the sitting, CIS Prime Ministers resolved to finalize priority
events’ plan on energetic concept implementation, RIA Novosti reported.

TRAPIZON THEATRE TO PLAY TOUR PERFORMANCES IN YEREVAN

audience a play by Turkish writer Aziz Nesin. According to Turkish
side, theatre was planning to play performances in Yerevan last year,
however, Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan rejected them.

Earlier, Trapizon Theatre of Art staged a play by Armenian writer
Hakob Paronyan.

ARMENIA’S EXPORT VOLUMES REDUCED BY 40.7% IN JANUARY-OCTOBER 2009

Statistic Service, Armenia’s export volumes in January-October 2009
comprised AMD 200.7 billion, having decreased by 40.7% in comparison
with 2008. Monthly export volumes were reduced by 1.4%.

Import in the above period comprised AMD 928.1 billion, which is a
28.5% fall compared to last year. Monthly import volumes fixed a 6.1%
increase.

Armenia’s foreign trade circulation comprised AMD 1 trillion 128.8
billion, which is a 31% decrease in comparison with the same period of
2008. Foreign trade balance deficit in the period concerned comprised
AMD 727.4 billion.
