Armenia’s sambo team to attend World Championship

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian sambo team will take part in World Sambo
Championship due in Thessalonike, Greece on November 5-9.

Armenia’s sporting sambo athletes are Vahan Vardanyan (w/c 68 kg.),
Vahyan Hovhannisyan (w/c 62 kg.), David Khachaytryan (w/c 698 kg.) and
Ashot Danielyan (w/c 74 kg.).

Fighting sambo athletes who will represent Armenia during championship
are Vachik Vardanyan (w/c 68 kg.) and Arsen Khachatryan (w/c 100 kg.).

Armenia sportsmen’s delegation led by RA Sambo Federation President
Levon Hayrapetyan will leave for Greece on November 2.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again.
