ARMENIANS IN RUSSIA BACK BORDER UNBLOCKING

"The border with Turkey should be unblocked. It must be done —
the situation in Armenia leaves no alternative," Artem Vardanyan,
resident of Russia said after the meeting with RA President in
Rostov-on-Don, October 7. "The visit made a positive impression
on Armenian community of Russia and CIS states. Everybody received
answers to their questions," declared Vardanyan.

A resident of Krasnodar region of Russia, Razmik Ghevorgyan, in
his turn pointed out "there were doubts and concerns before the
President’s arrival, however, after the today’s meeting all questions
were satisfied."

As NEWS.am informed early, RA President arrived in Rostov-on-Don within
his Pan-Armenia tour. Within a week he has visited Paris, New York,
Los Angeles and Beirut. Discussions with the Diaspora Armenians were
focused on Armenia-Turkey relations.
