Official Baku expects progress in the Karabakh settlement from the
meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents Ilham Aliyev and
Serzh Sargsyan to be held in Moscow in mid-July, Azerbaijani Foreign
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov told journalists on July 6, Trend News
reports.

"We hope to achieve certain progress in the Karabakh conflict
settlement in the Moscow meeting with the assistance of the Minsk
Group, but it will depend on the Armenian leadership, as well,"
Mammadyarov told journalists in Ganja.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Armenia
Serzh Sargsyan intend to conduct next talks on Karabakh settlement
in mid-July within traditional race for president of the Russian
Federation.

Generally, the minister said there was some progress in the settlement
of the conflict and relevant work would continue in Moscow on those
issues that were not agreed upon at the Presidents’ previous meeting
in St. Petersburg meeting.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
