TEENAGERS STAND TRIAL FOR PKK SUPPORT IN TURKEY

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Six Kurdish teenagers from Diyarbakir town, Turkey,
can stand trial for allegedly supporting the outlawed Kurdish Workers’
Party (PKK). If found guilty, they can face up to 20 years in prison.

"The group of teenagers was detained during a rally with participation
of Prime Minister Erdogan. They burnt a Turkish flag, set cars to
fire and threw Molotov cocktails at the guards.

In August, 5 Kurdish teenagers were detained for organization of an
action in support of PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan, who is serving a
life sentence, RFE/RL reports.
