By RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s decision, RA Minister of
Economy Nerces Yeritzyan, RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources
A. Movsisyan, RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs A. Hambardzumyan
will be off to Syunik marz – Kapan and Kajaran towns – to get
acquainted with the situation in the mining sector.

In order to get a first-hand view of the overall state of affairs and
the problems faced up in the marz, the above-stated ministers were
told to meet with heads of mining industries and trade unions. Once
back to Yerevan, within a two-day period they will have to submit
to the Prime Minister proposals concerning the ways for tackling the
existing bottlenecks.

Syunik marz governor S. Khachatryan has been assigned the task of
organizing said meetings.

In accordance with the same decision, the Minister of Labor and Social
Affairs was instructed to hold a consultative meeting in collaboration
with Kapan town’s welfare department, the Syunik marz regional center
of labor inspection and the Syunik marz medical-social commission
No.1 in order to discuss the welfare situation in Syunik marz.
