Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Receives Austrian Parliamentarians

On 18 June, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov,
received Austrian parliamentarians headed by the Chair of the
Inter-Governmental friendly group of Austria – South Caucasus and
Middle Asia, Carl Ollinger.

The head of the Austrian delegation said that the conflicts that
exist in Caucasus present threats and obstacles for development
and co-operation. Furthermore, Carl Ollinger was interested in
possibilities of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
settlement.

Mammadyarov said that the international community, especially European
institution, may play an important role in settling the conflict and
convince the Armenian side of giving up aggression policy.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on mutually interesting
issues.
