ARMENIAN FILMS IN CANE

A reception party was organized by Armenia in the frameworks of
Cannes devoted to "Golden Apricot" Yerevan international festival
fifth anniversary, reported Harutyun Khachatryan the director of
"Golden Apricot" festival. "On 23 May the party took place which was
the best one compared with previous ones.

This is not me who says it, but all think so," he said.

H. Khachatryan said that the dishes were from an Armenia restaurant
and the guests were honored by apricot vodka by "Artsakh Alco".

"In 1966 "Hello, it’s me" film by Frunze Dovlatyan was presented in
Cannes and after that the relationship was stopped. So this year is
the time to make them remember about Armenian film," he said.

This year Armenian films "Metamorphose" by Aram Tadevosyan, "Love or
not" by Vrezh Qasuni and "Gata" by Diana Lazarian were presented
in Cane. "Woeship" film by Atom Egoyan was honored by ecumenical
jury prize.
