15 Armenian Chess Players To Take Part In Individual Championship Of

15 ARMENIAN CHESS PLAYERS TO TAKE PART IN INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP OF EUROPE

YEREVAN, APRIL 18, NOYAN TAPAN. The European Chess Individual
Championships of men and women will start in the city of Plovdiv in
Bulgaria on April 20.

Nine men and six women chess players from Armenia will take part in
these championships. The prize fund of the championship of men makes
100 thousand euros, and that of women 40 thousand euros. The winner
in the championship of men will receive 15 thousand and that of women
6 thousand euros.

Besides deciding the champions of Europe the 35 passes for the World
Cup Tournament, 22 out of which between men, will be contended.

The European Championship will finish on May 2.
