LEVON ARONIAN SHARES 1-3rd PLACES WITH 5 POINTS IN AMBER INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

NICE, MARCH 19, NOYAN TAPAN. Levon Aronian competed with Magnus Carlsen
(Norway) in the 4th tour of the Amber International Chess Tournament,
which is being held in the city of Nice, France. In blind chess
the competitors drew the game, and in speed chess L. Aronian gained
a victory.

After 4 tours Levon Aronian (Armenia), Vasily Ivanchuk (the Ukraine),
and Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria) are in the leaders’ group with 5
points each.

March 19 is announced a rest day in the tournament.
