RA CEC completed re-count of electors’ votes

ArmInfo. Today, the Central Election Commission of Armenia completed
recount of the electors’ votes.

As press-secretary of RA CEC Tatev Ohanyan told ArmInfo, 135 election
precincts were open for recount and the time was not enough for recount
of votes at 24 precincts more. A criminal case has been instituted on
the precinct 9.35 in the Center community of Yerevan. The situation on
the rest 134 election precincts is as follows: Artur Baghdasaryan –
minus 24 votes, Artashes Geghamyan – plus 14, Tigran Karapetyan – plus
13, Aram Harutyunyan – minus 1, Vahan Hovhannisyan – minus 61, Vazgen
Manukyan – plus 55, Arman Melikyan – minus 2, Serzh Sargsyan minus 429
and Levon Ter-Petrosyan – minus 202 votes.

RA CEC satisfied 24 complaints, on the basis of which the electors’
votes were recounted. The votes at 62 election precincts were recounted
upon demand of RA presidential contender Levon Ter-Petrosyan and 49
precincts – upon demand of the rest candidates, Tatev Ohanyan. T.
Ohanyan also said that the final presidential election voting results
will be promulgated by CEC on February 26, according to the election
legislation.
