Leader of ‘New Times’ party kidnapped

ArmInfo. Leader of the "New Times" oppositional party Aram Karapetyan
has been kidnapped.

Press-secretary of Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s Central campaign headquarters
Arman Musinyan told ArmInfo that, today at 3:30 PM in Erebuni Street,
by the evidence of eyewitnesses, several people in masks kidnapped the
"New Times" oppositional party leader Aram Karapetyan and his
accompanying persons by cars with numbers of RA National Security
Service and carried away in an unknown direction. The kidnappers beat
A. Karapetyan’s bodyguards with batons, the message reads.

To recall, the "New Times" party headed by Aram Karapetyan claimed of
his support of Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s candidacy.
