Yerevan /Mediamax/. Presentation of an educational film about the
upcoming presidential elections took place in Yerevan today.

Mediamax reports that the film is made by OSCE Yerevan Office jointly
with the Armenian Public Relations Association (ARPA) and the Central
Electoral Commission of Armenia.

"The film aims at improving the culture of holding elections", CEC
Chairman Garegin Azarian stated.

Expert Hrayr Tovmasian, who presented the film, informed that it
in detail describes the whole process of holding elections. "The
experience shows that many mistakes during the previous elections
were results of lack of knowledge", he noted.

As the Head of the OSCE Yerevan Office Sergey Kapinos stated, the
plan and the methodology of the film are fully based on the Electoral
Code of Armenia. According to him, the film is a source of information
for both the members of electoral commissions and the electors.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
