YEREVAN, November 28. /ARKA/. RA NA (National Assembly) Speaker
Tigran Torosian rules out the possible interference of superpowers in
the forthcoming presidential election in Armenia. According to him,
superpowers did interfere in elections to avert crisis in post-soviet
countries.

No such thing happens in Armenia. Moreover, the country takes up all
the challenges, Torosian reported the Respublika Armenia.

He assured that the authorities have never concealed the country’s
problems and challenges, trying to keep their promises.

"In this connection, no one can speculate on our problems. Moreover,
society does not believe in empty promises any more," the NA Speaker
said.

He believes people deserve a better life and the government has
everything for this.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
