Foreign delegations intend to take part in the celebration of the Day
of the Belarusian capital. Representatives of India and Armenia have
already arrived in Minsk.

As Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said to the journalists in
the national airport Minsk, India values highly the relations with
Belarus and intends to develop mutual contacts in different areas.

"We have such relations in the scientific field and will try to boost
their further development. The matter also concerns trade, economy,
education, culture and other sides of interaction," the Chief Minister
of the Indian capital stated in the interview to the First National
Channel. Ms Sheila Dikshit plans to hold several business meetings
today. The Indian delegation will visit the children’s surgical center
of hospital #1, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Representatives of Armenia also aim to conduct some business meetings
in order to strengthen economic links with the Belarusian capital.

Minsk and Yerevan have an agreement on mutual cooperation, and
the current visit will promote bilateral relations, the delegation
representatives underscored.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
