GAZPROM WON’T REVIEW GAS PRICES FOR CIS COUNTRIES NEXT YEAR

ITAR-TASS, Russia
Aug 3 2007

MOSCOW, August 3 (Itar-Tass) — Gazprom will not review gas delivery
charges on CIS member countries next year.

"We have not set gas charges for next year only for Ukraine, but we
know the amount of prospective deliveries and the balance of gas. The
charges will depend on the price of gas purchased in Central Asia,"
Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov said on the Ekho Moskvy radio.

"Negotiations will be held with Georgia," he said. "This year’s gas
charge on Georgia stands at $235. They make the payments and receive
the agreed amounts of gas. It is hard to say how much gas will be
supplied during the year, as we must take into account the supplies
from Azerbaijan." In his opinion, the gas price for Georgia won’t
change in 2008.

"The gas price for Armenia has been set at $110 per 1,000 cubic meters
until 2009," he said. "The agreement was reached with due account of
the Russian stake in ArmRosGazprom, which will supply gas to Armenia
and participate in the construction of the fifth unit of the Razdan
heating and power plant."
